I began my art career with acrylic painting and, here and there, collage began showing up in my work. Today, I work almost exclusively in the medium of collage. I can disappear into the flow of creativity most easily with this medium. Most of my collage source material is found, rather than purchased or made, and ephemeral in nature. Often, it's sourced in urban locations, and I utilize a method of collection my daughter calls, "Picking Up Crap Off the Street".
